Craythorne Cottage Rolleston
Two Storey Side & Single Storey Rear Extension, Internal Alterations & new Detached Garage with new Drive Access.
Our client was looking to transform a 3 bedroom 1960’s Architect designed brick faced home into a more attractive 4 bedroom property. The Kitchen was very small, there was no Bathroom on the first floor and the Garage was attached to the rear of the property with the drive using up some of the rear garden. Our client requested a detached Double Garage and a detached Music Studio.
The Garage was removed at the rear and now when you enter the property, you have seamless views into the garden. An open plan Lounge/Dining Room greets you with the Kitchen off to one side and a Sun Lounge off to the rear. A new drive was formed with a new detached Garage. The property has been transformed into cottage style by creating dormer windows, an oak canopy, oak Sun Lounge and using rustic materials such as real oak cladding, handmade clay roof tiles and off-white render along with flush casement windows. The natural oak cladding and timberwork has weathered nicely giving the look of a long established property.
