Single Storey Rear Extension and Internal Remodelling
Overview
Our client wanted to replace an outside covered patio with a Sun Room and have this and the Kitchen/Dining Room all open plan. They also wanted folding doors so that the whole thing could open and there be no corner to the room.
Outcome
We achieved the open plan and design without a corner support by having a clever structural beam design hidden in the ceiling and cantilevered from deep in the house. When you enter the Kitchen/Dining Room the whole space is open right through to the new Sun Room. The folding doors retract to reveal a corner less open design. Two large bespoke roof windows were incorporated in the roof.
